Colorado Mom Kimberlee Singler Accused of Murdering Her Own Children: Probable Cause Affidavit

Gisela K.

In this episode, we examine the case of Kimberlee Singler, a Colorado Springs mother accused of murdering her 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, and attempting to murder her 11-year-old daughter in December 2023 amid a contentious custody dispute. We read through the new probable cause affidavit to learn details that we have never heard before.

Singler initially reported a burglary, claiming an intruder attacked the family, but investigators determined the report was unfounded. She fled to the United Kingdom shortly after, where she was arrested and fought extradition for nearly two years.

Following a UK court's approval, Singler was extradited to Colorado in December 2025. She is currently held without bond in El Paso County, facing multiple charges including two counts of first-degree murder. Her next court appearance occurred on January 7, 2026, with a preliminary hearing anticipated soon. The surviving child, now 13, is expected to serve as a key witness. Singler maintains her innocence as the case proceeds.
